The last couple of days I’ve been going through a lot of blogs, and many that I found from other countires followed a few blog traditions, or blog rules. A few of these included TMI Tuesday & HNT. I had no idea what these are!
Looking into them a little bit more, TMI Tuesday seemed a little big of a silly tradition. In fact, so did HNT, but it was one I was more adapt at following.
HNT is Half-Nekkid Thursday. One of the big debates between people who do it, and those that don’t, seems to be the meaning of ‘Nekkid’. Nekkid, from what I know, means Naked. Simple. But apparently it is naked with a little bit extra premiscuity.
In saying that though, the blog community seems to have banded together to defend themselves against media articles declaring the HNT is just a way to show off sexual acts & naked people.
Sure, while some bloggers choose to do this, it is not the idea of HNT. HNT is a way of showing that in todays forms of media (including, but not limited to blogs) we can without penalty show off some skin. It is to celebrate our bodies, and to pass on the fact that we don’t care.
In saying that, I’m not here to perform a sexual act on my blog or anything of the sort. In stead, I took a pic and figured it couldn’t hurt to upload it.
So, in the true nature of Half-Nekkid Thursday, my first HNT blog.

a blog about blogging? when will it stop!…
